Porth RFC - Snipets of Club History
Sept 71
Porth played under that name for the first time on 4th Sept 1971, playing away to B.O.A.C. and winning 7-4. The first ever points were scored by D.Rice who converted a penalty, followed by the first try scored by D.Williams (Dai).
That first season they went on to play 30 games, winning 13, losing 16 and drawing 1. Points for 285 points against 426
