Porth played under that name for the first time on 4th Sept 1971, playing
away to B.O.A.C. and winning 7-4.
The first ever points were scored by D.Rice who converted a penalty, followed
by the first try scored by D.Williams (Dai).
That first season they went on to play 30 games, winning 13, losing 16 and drawing 1.
